Braised Cabbage

Total time: 85 mins


  • 1/2 head cabbbage – shredded
  • 2T butter
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. On a low heat, melt the butter in a big pot
  2. Add the cabbage and vinegar, and give it a good stir
  3. Put the lid on and cook for about an hour, stirring occasionally
  4. Add the cranberries, and cook for another 15 minutes
  5. Serve!
