ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower (steamed)
- 2T butter
- 1 egg yolk
- olive oil
- 1/2 packet of gluten free chicken sausages
- 1/2 tin chopped tomatoes
- 1t xylitol
- salt and pepper
- mixed herb seasoning
- 1t garlic (or more, I always want more!)
- grated cheese
- 1/2 packet mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 onion (chopped)
instructions
- On a medium high heat, melt the butter in a large frying pan
- Add the oil and chopped onion and fry until softened
- add the mushrooms and fry for a few minutes
- Squish out the chicken meat from the sausage casings, and add to the pan
- Brown the chicken
- Add the tomatoes, seasoning, xylitol and salt and peper
- Simmer for 20 minutes
- Separately, add the steamed cauliflower to a blender, and blend until smooth
- Add the egg yolk and butter, and season with some salt and pepper
- Pour the chicken into a baking dish, top with cauliflower and cheese
- Grill for about 10 minutes and serve!
