Total time: 30 mins
Serves: 2

ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower (steamed)
  • 2T butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • olive oil
  • 1/2 packet of gluten free chicken sausages
  • 1/2 tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1t xylitol
  • salt and pepper
  • mixed herb seasoning
  • 1t garlic (or more, I always want more!)
  • grated cheese
  • 1/2 packet mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 onion (chopped)

instructions

  1. On a medium high heat, melt the butter  in a large frying pan
  2. Add the oil and chopped onion and fry until softened
  3. add the mushrooms and fry for a few minutes
  4. Squish out the chicken meat from the sausage casings, and add to the pan
  5. Brown the chicken
  6. Add the tomatoes, seasoning, xylitol and salt and peper
  7. Simmer for 20 minutes
  8. Separately, add the steamed cauliflower to a blender, and blend until smooth
  9. Add the egg yolk and butter, and season with some salt and pepper
  10. Pour the chicken into a baking dish, top with cauliflower and cheese
  11. Grill for about 10 minutes and serve!
